The Coaches Coach: Supporting Internal Coaches, Freelance Coaches and Manager Coaches with their business and professional development

Biography

Hi,
Thanks for coming to my blog and to find out more about me and how I work. I am The Coaches Coach – that means I specialise in supporting coaches be the best that they can be.

I work with coaches who have a range of different levels of experience from people who are thinking about getting into coaching, through coaches in training, newly qualified coaches and those with more experience who come to me for coaching supervision.

The coaches I work with are a range of freelance, internal coaches and manager coaches.

I love coaching coaches – you
know already what coaching is all about and in general how it can benefit you. What I love to do is help coaches move their businesses and personal and professional skills forwards, focusing as one client called me, a “One Stop Shop” Approach to supporting coaches.

I love coaching coaches because I want to see more of you continuing in the biz!

My vision is supporting the International Coach Federation goals of advancing the Art and Science of Coaching.

Coaching is a great way to have an effective and structured conversation that Gets Results. As coaches we need to be even more specialist in what we do and coaching and supervision can help us hone what we offer to our clients – that’s what I am here to do for you!

I got into coaching myself through working with my first coach, Francine Kaye, when I found I was struggling at my day job. Always being one who wears her heart on their sleeve I found that this got me into trouble occasionally and I wanted to develop so it wasn’t an issue – or at least so I minimised the downsides and kept the integrity and feistiness of saying what I think and feeling what I feel!

Francine was great and opened my eyes to focusing on my strengths and knowing what beliefs and values underpin what’s important to me. I love to do the same with coaches I work with, as well as focus on the practical matters of coaching and marketing.

I found when I got started in coaching it was easy to spend money all over the place and also to feel a bit lost when I got out of the nest of coach training. That’s why I focused on supporting coaches when I started to specialise in my niche – I knew I had both the love of the work, experience of working with coaches and experience as a life long learner and multitasker to share!

Now, I love to get out of bed in the morning as I know I can ask questions and offer support and resources that will really help make a difference to other coaches out there. As I have got further on my journey and more used to the internet and technology side of coaching, I’ve had more at my fingertips to share with other coaches and I am SO looking forwards to connecting with you!

So, great to meet you here, do leave me a comment or drop me an email to say hi!

Two of my Big Goals of 2009 are Connection and Sharing, so do sign up for email updates, leave comments and get in touch and tell me more about yourself and how I can help you continue as a successful coach!

Warmly, Claire
