    How to use google alerts to add value as a coach

    Do you coach within a fairly well defined niche?

    A technique I am playing with at the moment is setting up google alerts relating to what is going on in my keywords.

    For instance, for coaching "professional coach", "coaching for coaches" are two that I use.
    My new biz focus which is coming along nicely, thank you very much, I already have 3 alerts set up.  And it's great to see how it can spark off ideas in your own mind.

    So - what's your niche?

    6 ways you can use this to benefit your coaching business

    1.  Sign up for alerts relating to your core niche
    2.  Sign up for alerts relating to what your clients are interested in
    3.  Blog or use social networking to get your name out there
    4.  Email your clients summaries of information they may find interesting & valuable.
    5.  As part of market research to see what others in your market are up to.
    6.  To spot developing trends & keep ahead of the game
