What makes this a good question to ask your coach training school?
When I was looking at supervision, there was a great supervision course I was looking at, however when I added up all the elements that went on top of the core course, it simply wasn't affordable for me at that time, so I looked around more until I found what I was looking for.
It also means you have a very clear idea of exactly what the expectation on you are as you go through the course and can prepare effectively - it should start to give you an idea of the time investment as well as the financial investment so you can understand what that means to your coaching business.
Knowing the full financial costs will mean that you can work this into your business financial planning and forecasting to ensure that you fully understand all the cost elements. It is also worth thinking about if there are any live coaching events, what the cost of getting to those events is - both in terms of cost of travel, any overnight accommodation you need to make, additional costs for food, and the time cost to you of getting to a live venue.
Once you know all the costs up front, and what they are for, it may be that you can find out if you can find them at a cheaper rate - for instance for books looking on ebay or amazon market place, or finding out if your local library has them, or another coach you know that you could borrow them from before you invest in the book yourself. Other coaches are a great source of knowledge of what works and if you are on forums you may be able to ask about what other coaches have done in this situation or ask for help - for example, in different coaching forums I am a member of, I have seen requests for car sharing, as well as information on the best long distance cheap call provider to call US bridgelines, or headsets for coaching.
