Hi there
Thanks for clicking through from my twitter link @coachclaire. This landing page I got the idea from @pistachio and thought it a pretty neat way to sum up where to go next!
About me in a slightly more than twitter nutshell!
I am the Coaches Coach: described by my readers, clients and followers as a "One Stop Shop" for Coaches, covering Marketing, Business & CPD (Wow, 140 characters exactly!) I work with coaches & give tips, resources and support for coaches at all stages of development and in different arenas: People who are considering becoming a coach, trainee coaches, newly qualified coaches, experienced coaches. I support both freelance coaches, internal coaches & managers in a coaching role
I'm trying to answer "How can I be the best coach I have the potential to be, and help other coaches do the same?" I got into coaching because I have always been interested in self development. I LOVE to read but find when it comes to personal change that sometimes that book and the questionnaire just isn't enough! I went to my coach for the first time when I was facing some challenges at work which kept coming round in circles to bite me... well, you know! I LOVED coaching, exploring learning about myself and seeing the changes I made as a result. Soon enough there was a whisper in my ear that this is something I could do myself, and the rest is history! I've completed several coach training courses as well as my initial coach training and continue to focus on learning new skills and techniques that will best help the coaches I work with.
It's felt challenging at time learning to coach and running a business as well as all the other things I love to do, yet it's made me a better coach I think as a result, learning from my own life experiences and sharing my learning with others through Grow as a Coach. I loved the fact that someone said to me after working with me that I am so honest when I work with people and that I have challenges as well! Yes - coach not deity!!
